Wedding suits sometimes go for ridiculous prices but one doesn’t need to pay so much to look good!
We must select a proper custom suit maker, who is reasonably priced but maintains a good quality.

Please note that Tuxedo jackets are slightly more expensive than the Suit jackets mainly because they have small details here & there which needs attention but the cost also depends on the selection of the material.
Traditionally, men have Tuxedo suits and women (if they prefer a traditional marriage) then a very traditional dress or even an elaborate cocktail dress with few innovations.
For ladies, sky is the limit!
To discuss Tuxedo jackets the Tuxedo suits have silk on the lapel and black in color or pure white but these days more modern colors are chosen like royal blue and so on.
Pants may have a silk stripe on the sides but that’s a personal preference.
Further, a tuxedo jacket which is a single breasted with a single button has a button inside as well which means you can use the buttons both ways, then the silk on the lapel should be stitched very properly so that the thin silk material on the thicker suit fabric should lie flat and not bubble up and so many small details.
This is why the tailor should be well experienced.
Tuxedo jackets should avoid slope shoulders, but instead slightly elevated, so the outlook is a slim Jacket with a little squarer shoulders.
That’s when custom tailors play their role here and readymade are made to look like a compromise!
Therefore, advance planning, and fittings with the tailors are very crucial to get a proper fit of the jacket.
So, the question is does a tuxedo jacket fits like a suit jacket?
Generally not because the tuxedo jacket is more form fitting and tapering on the waist.
However, since not all bodies are of the same shape and sizes in some cases, tuxedos are let out and shaped more casually, and lose fitted if the gentleman in question is slightly broader on the waist and hips.
In some continents of the world, Tuxedo jackets are produced to maintain a slightly stiffer fusing then a regular suit jacket but the basics remain the same be it, a single breasted or a double breasted jacket.
To break tradition however, tuxedo jacket colors are chosen in different shades then a classical white or black but with keeping almost the same style & design.
I know you are wearing the tuxedo only for the one time, but I would advise to go for the best.
